The beautiful region around Boppard has UNESCO World Heritage status, and rightly so. The Father Rhine meanders through the low mountain range, past villages and small towns that are thousands of years old. The numerous well-preserved castles and the marvellous landscape provide unforgettable romance. The icing on the cake are the many excellent hiking trails to the left and right of the river.
Das Obere Mittelrheintal, in dem Boppard liegt, ist seit 2002 UNESCO-Welterbe und besticht durch seine einzigartige Kombination aus Natur und Kultur. Der Rhein schlängelt sich durch das Mittelgebirge, vorbei an jahrhundertealten Ortschaften und zahlreichen gut erhaltenen Burgen, die für unvergessliche Romantik sorgen. Die Region bietet zudem ausgezeichnete Wanderwege links und rechts des Flusses, die zu Erkundungstouren einladen.
