Ehrenburg Castle

From ruin to event location

The Ehrenburg castle near Brodenbach is a former ruin of a spur castle which has been rebuilt carefully over the last 20 years. It lies on a rock nose and overviews the Ehrbach Valley, a side valley of the Mosel. It does not belong to the Castles on the Rhine.

To emphasize in particular are the many activities that take place on the Ehrenburg all year long. Especially during the summer it lures with attractive framework programmes for children and adults. Archery, guided tours, mediaeval crafting in the castles courtyard and much more. The Ehrenburg is an insider tip under the castles in our region. Reasons for that are the gently maintenance and continuously optimizations.

The Ehrenburg offers a great program

The castle is furthermore optimal for company events and teambuildings which makes it a great partner for conferences and events. Adventure events can be integrated and booked into meeting packages without any problems.

You can reach the Ehrenburg easily from Boppard via car, but we highly recommend a hike through the Ehrbachklamm. By train you can drive to Buchholz or Emmelshausen and access one of the dream loops quickly which along the Ehrenburg lead to Brodenbach at the Mosel.
